Trish Oleksa Haas
Managing Partner
Trish Oleksa Haas graduated cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she was an Associate Editor of Law Review. Trish has an undergraduate degree in Business Management. She considers this degree to be a tremendous asset to her practice because it has provided her a keen understanding of the complex financial transactions that accompany many divorces.
Trish has always dedicated her practice exclusively to family law. Prior to opening her own firm in April 2008, she worked as an associate for a metro-Detroit family law firm. Trish is a passionate and skilled writer, with several published articles and cases. Most notably, she obtained favorable results for her clients in the following published decisions: O'Brien v. D'Annunzio, 507 Mich. 976 (2021); In re AJR, 496 Mich. 346 (2014); Rains v. Rains, 301 Mich. App. 313 (2013); Edge v. Edge, 299 Mich. App. 121 (2012); Kirby v. Vance, 481 Mich. 889 (2008) and Rittershaus v. Rittershaus, 273 Mich. App. 462 (2007).
Practicing law is Trish’s second career. Before attending law school, she was a weather forecaster in the United States Air Force. During her nine year tenure in the Air Force, she was stationed in Germany, Panama, Alaska and Saudi Arabia and she credits her vast exposure to the world for her unique ability to personally relate to each of her clients.
